Description

As much as I've wanted to do my X-Laws babe for ages now, mecha angels are a no-no.
So I did a humanoid in metalic colours instead, lololol. Because meh. I can't art, rip.
Team info will differ from the anime, as much as I hate it. But I couldn't insert her any other way. ;-;

♦Shamanic Spells♦
  •  Archangel Fire 

This attack involves Ki Hyo and the other X-Laws lining up and taking aim with their weapons and then simultaneously launching all of their Archangels at the same target. By using all seven Archangels, this attack becomes strong enough to cripple and even to send almost any person into a near death state. This attack seems to use a minimal amount of Furyoku and it happens so fast that barely anyone sees it before it is over.

  •  Hyōi Gattai 

This shamanic technique enables the shaman to integrate spirits into their body, forming a "unity" of both, their spirit and that of the ghost. The shaman would enter a special trance which enables them to synchronize their spirit with that of the ghost, allowing the ghost to possess their body and enabling the ghost to interact with the physical world. Furthermore, once integrated, the shaman takes on the knowledge & wisdom of the ghost as well as their personality.

  • Purifying Bullet

The main and basic attack of Ki Hyo and Jeremiel - it is nothing but shooting Furyoku loaded bullets;

  • Merciful Fate

Hi Kyo, as an act of mercy, grants her enemies death, hence this attack can only be lethal. Ki Hyo shoots a bullet with poison, no antidote exists. However, if she misses, the time before she can re-use the attack is very long.

  • Vision of Light

With a strong flap of wings, instead of wind Jeremiel sends a strong current of bright, blinding light, leaving the opponent vulnerable. On the other hand, it can as well affect the allies.

  • Dreams of Tomorrow

Ki Hyo is able to enter the state of trance and foresee an unchangeable future of next 24 hours. However, it is very draining and may leave her unconscious for several days, hence it's not a spell she uses much.


♦Weapons♦

  • Sword No 009 "Ki Hyo-Rin"
It's a weapon that works with Archangel Jeremial and was provided to Ki Hyo upon joining the X-Laws. It's a small hand gun, so tiny it can easily fit into Ki Hyo's hand. The handle has lacy details on it.
  • Angelic Tear
The first and original weapon of Ki Hyo was an artefact used by ancient civilisations for performance of rites, mostly to praise old deities. Not much is known about it,as it comes from pre-historical times and has been often called fake. It's a nice cut out work of fine stones, so nice it's impossible to consider the times it comes from as no technology capable to replicate it exists even in the world of today. 


♦Spirit♦

  • Archangel Jeremiel
Jeremiel's name means 'Mercy of God' In addition to being an archangel of prophetic vision's, Jeremiel helps newly-crossed over souls to review their lives. He helps those still living to take an inventory of their life, to be able to make positive adjustments. Jeremiel is responsible for visions, life review and psychic dreams. Jeremiel's been produced from a car Honda Acura ILX.
  • Leessho
Leessho may appear as a spirit of a peacock, but in fact, it's an old forgotten deity of advanced civilisations that came before human era, also known as civilision of Atlantis. Much like Jeremiel, Leessho would help with provision and extrasensory skills. Upon joining the X-Laws, using Jeremiel's skills, Ki Hyo sent Leessho to the other side.




♦History♦


♦Past♦
Ki Hyo was an ordinary girl with few extraordinary skills. With her well developed sixth sense, she'd often stun people with predictions. No one had ever doubted her being able to see spirits, and she would openly communicate with them. On many occassions, she'd be presented as a psychic on a TV, often helping to solve murder crimes or suicides via communication with spirits. Despite the regime in the country, she was not arrested as her skills, after many testing, were proven to be genuine. Not long after, people sort of forgot about the skilled girl, allowing her to remain focused on school, which Ki Hyo did. Herself, she was never particularly interested in paranormal stuff surrounding her - she had strong ideology of communism and sought that rather than spending time with the dead.

However, during some school trip, she first saw the Angelic Tear in a museum, feeling an immediate strong bond. As she walked closer, she's noticed a very beautiful peacock spirit hanging around. Realizing the girl saw him, Leessho then followed her. As it'd be expected from a bird, he doesn't speak. Ki Hyo tried to get rid of the bird for weeks, but it wouldn't go away no matter what. Eventually, she gave in.


♦Pre-contest♦
Ever since her graduation, Ki Hyo worked as a part of secret government organisation, focusing on keeping an eye on people, which is very widely spread in the North Korea. She's never complained about her job and was very proud of it. Upon having Magna make an appearance for the first time, announcing about the Shaman Fights, she attempted to investigate the foreigner who, most definitely, crossed the border illegally. However, it was unsuccessful. Her mind was cleared out when a fellow shaman got in touch with her, assuming she must have been visited by a Patch member too, given her history with spirits from earlier days.  The fellow happened to be acknowledged of the tournament, and told Ki Hyo about it, also hinting she will need a weapon. Ki Hyo was very confused as she's never considered fighting using spirits.

She then also finds out Leessho, although cannot talk, can communicate. He spirit would send her visual images instead of words and hinted she will need the Angelic Tear. Using her position and connections, Ki Hyo manages to retrieve the weapon just before the trial fight.

Upon meeting Magna, she cares little about the shaman fights, and instead processes questioning him how did he make it into the country. However, she concentrates later on. With Leessho's guidance, she knows exactly what to do and it doesn't take long for her to land the hit on the officiant, which means she can enter the fights.


♦Preliminary matches♦
In preliminary matches, Ki Hyo strictly follows her spirit, who usually tells her as for where will the enemy hit, allowing Ki Hyo to dodge. Like wise, it advices where and when to hit, hence Ki Hyo is quite successful. Yet, she has a single lose, to the very person who had helped her to understand what the tournament was.

Ki Hyo isn't really upset about it, nor her opponent is cocky. The two make good friends.

♦Looking for the Patch Village♦

As the second tour begins, Ki Hyo tries to get in touch with all her previous opponents - she learns none of the two she's won against failed, and so they had transferred into the second tour, too. She offers them to team up to walk into the next stage together. The two she's defeated agree, but the one Ki Hyo lost to said he already got a team, but hopes to see her along the way.

The journey towards the Patch Village isn't too adventurous for the group - they do face some difficulties and get to fight fellow shamans along the way, but the trio are very friendly and cooperative, hence they don't fail as a team. Things are looking very bright, up until when they reach the Patch Village.

♦Shaman fights: Second round♦

Right at the entrance, the team is confronted by Hao and his group. Hao suggests Ki Hyo joins his side, saying her teammates are only pulling her down. Ki Hyo replies she has no intention of leaving her friends, to which her oldest shaman friend steps out, revealing himself as Hao's follower. Convinced by that, Ki Hyo tries to negotiate she will join in if the rest of her team can, but Hao declines, stating he has no interest in weaklings such as her teammates are. The team then fully rejects the offer and are engaged into a fight.

It doesn't last long, and both of Ki Hyo's friends are killed, she herself is badly injured. The outcome would have been lethal, but the X-Laws got involved. While Hao could easily wipe them off, he chooses to back off, allowing them to save Ki Hyo.

She wakes up already in the Patch Village, where the X-Laws are taking care of her. Upon regaining consciousness, she's reminded of what happened, and Marco explains what the X-Laws are. Before he can add something, Ki Hyo eagerly asks if she can join, for she wants to revenge Hao and her once friend for the deaths of her team.

It eventually happens, and she gets the uniform + a gun storing her mechanical Archangel. Under pressure, she gets rid of Leessho, but soon learns Jeremiel's abilities are quite similar, which soothes the pain of departing.

She is trained by Marco, and admires him greatly, never failing to fulfil a single task or an order. Soon enough, she finds herself feeling more towards him than simple admiration, but tries to keep it secret for as long as possible.

♦Family information♦
Name: Rin
Niche: It wasn't any perticular family in the North Korea. Ki Hyo, just like a regular child, was going to a normal school. She was a good student and by time of graduation, had no criminal records on herself or her family, hence secret forces had offered her a job;
Involvement with the spirit world: None. Ki Hyo is the first shaman in the lineage.

♦Trivia♦
  • As a young teen, Ki Hyo became a victim of a sexual assault. Ever since, she is scared of broad men and completely freaks out if they're openly trying to flirt with her. Ryu, during one of his attempts to retrieve Lyserg, tried hitting onto her and Ki Hyo, panicking, beaten him to half death;
  • She is very attracted to Marco, but would never say so. Instead, she sticks to his side and does her best to meet his expectations;
  • Ki Hyo can't tell if it's Hao she hates, or the former friend of her;
  • Secretly, she regrets sending Leessho away. While it'd be one sided communication, there was any at all. There is no way she can communicate with Archangel Jeremiel for it's an artificial being, and so Ki Hyo is lowkey jealous of shamans being friends with her mochireis;
  • It took a lot of effort for her to leave North Korea, and Ki Hyo was scared she might not be able to;
  • She isn't particularly sure of what she's doing or why would she want to become a Shaman King  (Queen?), hence following Jeanne appeared to be a better option.
